I am getting this "Media too narrow for non-rotatable and non-tiled image." error after am ripping files.

The background on the file is that it is 36 wide and I am printing on a media that 38 inches wide. In the Preview and Size tab, it by default says I have a maximum print area of of 34.93 inches. I go into the settings and reduce the print area reduction to zero. Now it says the maximum print area is 37.61.

My file is definitely only 36 inches wide. Why can't I print it on 38 inch material?

If any one has any input on this it would be much appreicated. Thanks.

Had this problem and came here for a solution.

Tried several things and when I turned of the plotter for the job it cleared up and was able to print. When I selected the plotter again to test it the job was shrunk and it appeared to work correctly. Good thing I noticed the size had changed. Changed the job editor again to none for the plotter and it worked fine.

Select the job. Then select job editor. The change the contour cutter to "none" and it should work.

Just in case it's important the file was an Adobe Illustrator file and I use Thrive

I am getting this error also. I am trying to print a 24"x48" image (image is smaller, but artboard in illustrator is set up as 24"x48". I called the support line, but they were not helpful at all. I have tried picking every sheet size possible, from the full bed, to creating a special 24x48 page size.
