Hi OnyxTalk, I'm pretty sure members will have experience printing spot colours on the L25500. I initially thought we had a heater problem (too high), or wrong marriage setting between the two heaters.
We've now tested the issue for a while and it's getting frustrating. All Pantone references are sent and the RIP is set up correctly same as our Z6100s but the printed results are noisy/grainy. Unlikely, but could it be something to do with the RIPs built in Pantone reference table, not the profile?
We've exhausted are few troubleshooting techniques on different media, but mostly monomeric self-adhesives. I will run a satin paper this mornIng for testing too. I will let you know the result.

Many thanks,
Christian

L25500 & Pantone Spot colour update:
We run the HP satin paper (supplied with machine), which has managed to print 95% of the spot colours. After analysing the swatches, around four from eighty (dark green, dark purple, etc.), have the drying problems. We have used HP's supplied profile (not ideal, I know), and machine calibrated paper first.
Any thoughts here will be appreciated as what seem to the high DeltaE colours causing the problems. Surely, all out of gamut Pantone colours should be dumbed down automatically, this is a real problem for us at the current time.

Best regards,
Christian
