Hot Folder via FTP

Is it possible to have photos that are sent to the rip queue via a hot folder that is on a webserver / remote server? Perhaps the hot-folder is accessed by FTP, I have not found a way so far.

All our jobs will exist on a remote server, and will have the order number as the folder name. We'd like to setup a number of automations - ie print a certain size, change colour mode etc & also to add the order number and the file name in small type at the bottom.

Could postershop or production house do this?

You have to have a drive letter assigned in order for it to be used. If you mapped a folder on a remote server to your machine running Onyx then you should be able to use that as a Hot Folder. I have instructions somewhere here on the forum of how I had mine setup using mapped network folders. It would be the same concept essentially, though I haven't ever tested using a remote server.
