Doug Mackay, Doug is the Best!! Engineer at ONYX Graphics takes you step-by-step through how to use the powerful but simple backlit media preset in ONYX ProductionHouse Version X10.

Additionally, you can read more at http://www.onyxtalk.com/thread-thrive-fl...ng-backlit

Say, any chance I could find out exactly what material that is, and get a copy of that profile?

Thanks,

Well according to his MediaManager window the profile he's showing us is for 3M IJ180C-10...which obviously isn't a backlit media. Hrm.

I'll ask and see what I can find out.

Just imagine how powerful X10 Media Manager is: it turns SA Vinyl into backlit (if you want) ;-).

Lol, yes the magic of video editing can turn any substrate into another Wink

Unfortunately, I do not have the profile (The material was a nameless solvent backlit).
The video shoot was sort of rushed, I was not using my normal workstation and the screen shots came from the marketing team's PC.

If I were to do it over...
I would roll the camera start to finish (including any profiling difficulties) and make the edits afterward.
I'd use a common media and post the profile for others to follow along, or dissect the process on their own.

Please comment to the Youtube page if you would prefer this approach.

Thanks!
