Exporting from job editor (pre flight) - Pauly - 08-01-2016 06:51 PM

I stumbled up on this issue.

If someone can follow these steps and tell me what they get would be great.

Open a job file ( a raster image like a single tone, i.e trees/forrests or beach/sea)
Apply your quick set ect like you would to print.
Job editor/pre flight should now open.

What you see on the screen is what you'll print right?

Go file and export image. file format TIFF, Pixel format CMYK. Use compression and colour correction.
Save it
Now open it in photoshop.

Is it the same colours as Job editor/original image? Or is it different.

Mine is heavily tinted yellow.

I've tired this on multiple profiles. Factory ones, my ones. and they've all got this tint. some is more than others.

Note that through photoshop, i do a hard proof with my P600 and there's no tint, looks like my screen. everything is perfect.

1/ Does it export tiff with original colors (in the original color space), or after ICC conversion?
2/ Does it embed the ICC profile into the picture?

and as last
3/ Are you using relative colorimetric intents or absolute?
